The open-air, “Tuscan farmhouse” feel of Rosemary’s makes it the perfect place to chill during one of these gorgeous summer afternoons. With a menu full of dishes comprised of fresh ingredients – some from the restaurant’s rooftop garden – and a delicious, carefully selected wine list, eating and/or drinking is the closest you can get to escaping the city without dealing with horrendous traffic.
Open at 8 a.m. during the week and 10 a.m. on weekends, it’s a great place for breakfast, casual dates, boozy brunch, large groups, girls’ dinners, outdoor dining, people watching, lunch, small plates and entertaining out of town friends. More info below:
Good For Girls’ Dinners: As mentioned, Rosemary’s has a wine list that will satisfy even your… um… thirstiest friends. It also has a lot of tables for groups - just be prepared to wait at peak hours – and its menu has a good selection of affordable options.
Good For Casual Dates: The restaurant can get crowded but if you go in the early evening and get a seat outside (or inside by the open walls), it’s a great spot to chat and people watch over wine and small bites.
Good For Lunch: The afternoon is a great time to go because it doesn’t fill up nearly as quickly around midday, meaning should be ample opportunity to take advantage of the sun.
